About Us

Thabatha Acosta Soriano is a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over eight years of experience in the ABA field, she has worked with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other developmental disorders. Having worked extensively across various settings with diverse cases—from non-vocal to high-functioning children—the founder recognizes the unique needs of each child.

Thabatha holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, graduating summa cum laude and with honors from both the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. She also earned a master’s degree in Psychological Prevention and Intervention in Behavioral Problems, which has equipped her to apply evidence-based practices effectively. Committed to continuous learning, Thabatha stays up-to-date with the latest developments in ABA therapy to provide the highest quality clinical care. She currently serves as the Clinical Director at Behavioral Neurodiversity Specialists.

 The inspiration behind Behavioral Neurodiversity Specialists stems from a deep-seated passion for supporting children in overcoming behavioral challenges. Our methodology emphasizes pairing each child with a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) tailored to their specific requirements. ABA Therapy has been profoundly life-changing for children, we teach skills that produce socially lasting changes. Beyond therapy sessions, we provide comprehensive support collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize therapy. This approach extends to fostering relationships with parents offering continuous guidance. Committed to ongoing clinical advancement, our founder actively engages with diverse cases including those involving foster children ensuring that every child receives the highest standard of care and support.
